Chris Kearns has a background and passion for design. He is originally from Winnemucca, Nevada, and moved to Bozeman, Montana, to study architecture at Montana State University and later received his master’s degree. His love for mountains and the outdoors has inspired his focus on design that relates to the surrounding environment, with an emphasis on views, function, and sustainability. He gained real-world experience in both architecture and construction through his studies and work, including working summers with a contractor in Big Sky, Montana and working at a small residential firm in Bozeman. His goals are to eventually pursue licensure and to integrate sustainable design principles into all his work.
