Nathan Heller – AIA, NCARB, ASID

Nate founded Studio H Design in 2008 to create architecture that serves as a bridge between the client’s needs and the built environment. By creating architecture that connects the client’s lifestyle and vision to place and context, Nate strives to create timeless architecture that ranges from contemporary to Mountain Modern.

With over 20 years of experience in architectural design, Nate has spent his working life in the trades. From his start as a carpenter he worked his way up through several major local general contracting companies, moving from superintendent to project manager, before taking on bidding, estimating, and contracting responsibilities for large commercial projects. He moved to Bozeman in 2000 to attend Montana State University, receiving his Master of Architecture degree.

As Principal, Nate is intimately involved in every project from inception to completion. Working closely with clients to explore their unique objectives, Nate leads the design team, providing inspiration and defining project programming, scheduling, and goals.

Nate is a licensed Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
